Hardfork 20 is a massive update, although it won't change much of how Steemit looks, it will pave a way for the bigger updates such as SMTs and Hivemind.
The key changes in HF 20:
- Faster and free account creation
- Unlimited editing
- Advantage of early self votes by authors
- 30 minute to 15 minute voting window

Will blockchain be a part of the AI future?
Today I stumbled upon a very relaxing video of the Elon Musk podcast where he smoked weed. In the video he talks about how we eventually will be overtaken by AI. We will create something that is unstoppable similar to what a blockchain in is essence is built to be. I think if we have a create an AI that is harmful to us and it knows how to use blockchain, we are up for a shitstorm. I agree with Elon Musk, that it will probably be too late to regulate AI once it's dangerous.

The future
But we need something to be excited about. As Elons says, there are not many things in the world that make you truly excited. For him it's being a multi planetary species. For me, I haven't discovered it yet, the thing that I really want to look forward to. Blockchain though, has made me see the possibilities that are not possible with other technology. The thing I am proud most of ourselves, is the drive to keep exploring and think of ways to improve lives. Which species on earth is capable of doing that? We should be proud and not afraid to move on, even though we might create our own path to doom, we gotta keep going and live for something to be excited about.
