As a Project Manager I take a lot of training and do a lot of reading to stay up with new trends, changes in methodology, and for general betterment in my craft as a PM. But sometimes, I find something that so striking that I feel the need to share it as opposed to keeping in within.
Case in point, this quote below. While attributed to a few people, in one form or another, I'm taking the version of our 33rd President, Harry S. Truman,
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit...
Harry S. Truman
From the perspective of a Project Manager, this is what you/we/I should strive to be all about. That is, not caring who gets the credit so long as the project gets completed. Besides, as a PM, it's your job to get said project finished at any cost (so to speak). In the end, that's your credit; project completed.
