It is our first time to celebrate together like this since we were in a long-distance relationship after 6 months of dating and my heart is so happy and in love.
We never celebrated monthsary with my boyfriend because our goal is to reach years being together. So we always look forward to anniversaries and look back on the months that had past and we try to see if we have been improving in our life, our career, and our relationship.
Just a little throwback, we met at "Sinulog Festival" it was the grandest and the most celebrated festival in Cebu way back in 2018. So then we decided to celebrate our anniversaries every Sinulog but for the past 3 years, we celebrated it online because my boyfriend is working in Japan.
Let me share with you hivers our 4th-anniversary celebration.
We decided to reserve a table in a very nice and formal restaurant cafe in the heart of Cebu City. The name of this restaurant is "Tales and Feelings" It is located in Ramos Street, Cebu City. It's an internationally inspired dish with a southeast Asian twist and they are proudly supporting local farms and use organic ingredients from all around the world.
We got our first appetizer which is called "Bruschetta". The ingredients have cream cheese, cherry tomatoes, and feta. I personally love this bruschetta and give it 10/10 ratings because of its crunch and the taste of cherry tomatoes is so heaven.
Our second appetizer is called "Seared Gensan Tuna". It has cucumber, ginger, and togarashi on it and the taste is so overwhelming. You could really taste everything and the tuna is so mouth-watering. 100/10 👌
We had our main course for that night which I choose "Stuffed Ham and Cream Cheese Chicken" while my boyfriend had an "Angus Ribeye Steak". These are the signature food of Tales and Feelings and it is worth the try.
"Stuffed Ham and Cream Cheese Chicken" is really good because it's creamy and it has parsley veloute, oyster mushroom, and asparagus on it. I would give 1000/10 for this because it's so special, flavourful and delicious.
"Angus Ribeye Steak" is one of the best steaks I have tasted in my life because of its chimichurri sauce and a shallots mushroom that gives the steak more special. I will give this 1000000/10.
Overall, we did really enjoy our celebration at Tales and Feelings. They may be a small restaurant but they're a gem. I recommend it personally and reserve a table before coming there.
Thank you to my boyfriend who really made me so special and did everything to make me feel love. I was also surprised that he gave me a bouquet of flowers for the first time in my life. My love for him grows stronger with each moment and I can't wait to celebrate more anniversaries with him in the future.
