This blog was inspired by Mike’s blog while his blog was inspired by someone else who made a comment on his blog. We have here a ripple effect of inspiration. I have been having some difficulty to find topics to write about and this appears to be a solution, reading quality content and reflecting on it to see how this can be applied for self.
It’s about the word content. As I am working currently on some points within my body, the pains and discomforts, which I will share in my later blogs, I can see that what happens when I work through some point I become more content. And it’s not necessarily to have worked and finished with something but it’s the process and perhaps the deep knowing that I am moving in the right direction and taking self-responsibility as self-creator. Now I was looking at how can I describe for myself this experience of being content. The first thing that emerges is the experience of being present in the body and being very comfortable in it, there is a relaxation of muscles felt, a kind of warmth that is experienced throughout the body.
Currently, however, for me the moments of being content are few and far in between as there is so much discontent accumulated in the mind and the body through years of unaware living where slowly over time I have programmed myself, or more accurately I have allowed myself to be programmed, into layers of information that is not in alignment with the simplicity of life here but into complex polarity equations as the various characters and personalities that I have accepted as myself. And now there is a constant fight and friction between all those polarity equations as the characters and personalities as what I have become through those years of unaware programming.
In all of this, again, I see that a sense of contentedness with myself is partly achieved in the process of participating in the re-creation of this programming to stand in alignment with the simplicity of life here. I see myself many times deviating from this simplicity, even as I write, I manage to overcomplicate things, loose myself in thoughts and overwhelm the shit out of everything. Luckily here is my body quickly manifesting discomfort and pain as a clear sign to slow down and return back to simplicity. It is a process
