Often, we lose our sense of calm during stressful situations. It is not in our control. Some people may appear calm but they are the ones who take it to heart and it affects them more than those who shout it out.
There is a fun story of Englishmen and Frenchmen traveling on a bus. The bus skidded and was about to fall off a cliff. The Frenchmen started shouting and making noise while the English remained calm. The bus was brought back to safety and the Frenchmen relaxed but the English panicked and started ranting about what could have happened.
This just shows the different attitudes or mentality of people in difficult situations. Remaining calm was a wise decision though.
What happens when we lose calm?
we lose our sense of reasoning.
To remain peaceful in any given stressful situation is tough but we have to practice it to save our lives. It is said that many deaths occur due to fear rather than the cause itself.
Tips to remain calm during stressful situations
