Dropping a small workout that can easily be done at home or gym. Or literally anywhere if you’re brave enough to use something sturdy lol.
What I used was this box my husband threw together because I attempted a higher one at one point... I made it to the top but flew backwards and landed not so softly. So I’m working up my courage to get back at that one. Til then I use my shorter one. To begin with you’ll want to do a 5 minutes warm up. Jump rope, running, simple stretches.. then you do these next:
- Elevated Pistol Squats (stand on 1 leg and squat as low as you can while standing on box.)- 14x each leg
- 3 Moving Push Ups (start at one side; one hand on floor, other on box, and push up.. move to center of box then repeat the other side with hands being high/low. This counts as 1.)- 3x
- Elevated Crunch (sit on box, lay back making a line then crunch. Make sure you pull your belly button in to engage abs.)- 14x
- Jack Knife (position in like a tricep dip as you go down bring a leg up to your chest; as you go up extend leg out.)- 14x
- Decline Side Planks (feet up on box; elbow on ground. Hold 30 secs each side.)- 30 secs each side
- Box Jump Throw-Upees (jump on box, down and do a burpee. Repeat.)- 14x
I repeated this 3x with minimum breaks in between each exercise but a minute between each Round.
Make sure you have water but not too much especially if you have “mom bladder”. Lol and don’t forget to cool down! Don’t want achy muscles due to not stretching afterwards.
Also reward your body with nutritious foods not junk. Won’t help you.
