Scientists have discovered for the first time that men have their own bacteria in the testicles, different depending on fertility and may be associated with inability to have children.
The scientists prepared a study at the Institute of Research and Health Care Hospital San Rafael in Milan, and participated only 15 men, so their results are preliminary.
Scientists predict that men with more of these bacteria (4 species) in the testicles, more fertile, while a small group of these organisms may mean that the man has fewer sperm and may suffer from infertility.
