Today's heet is about decentralization.
Blockchain and crypto people do not like to hear this or think too much about it, but making progress in a decentralized setting requires consensus. And consensus is difficult and costly to achieve. Leadership still matters. Leaderless communities find it hard to make progress.
Corollary: Hive would progress better if it availed itself of a charismatic leader. Not a manager, someone who would decide what the community should do or not do, but rather someone who embodies the vision, the values, the spirit, not unlike Vitalik Buterin for Ethereum.
