Today i wanted to discuss about world notorious BLUE WHALE CHALLENGE that has killed many kids around the world.I have been doing a pretty lot research about the game.The psychopath who designed this game obviously misused his advanced knowledge of psychology and created this mind controlling game where kids lead to kill themselves. Seriously.
What is BLUE WHALE CHALLENGE?
Blue Whale game/Challenge is a kind of suicide game in which a certain group of people/curators gives a task everday to a participant — for a period of about 50 days — the final task of which is - PARTICIPANT COMMITTING SUICIDE. Also the participants are asked to share picture of them completing each task.
These daily task list has some easier ones in the beginning — like - listening to certain music, waking up at odd hours, watching horror movies and then slowly these tasks escalate to carve out shapes on the skin( a kind of self-mutilation) and final tasks is suicide.
Whats my take on this?
-- Since i am an adult, and the games is mainly for kids of age around 15 16 years. BUT we have witnessed one case of a 19-year old committing suicide in india to complete blue whale challenge, so vulnerability of mind is the main point here, not the age.
-- As I am into my phone all day long, once even my mom asked me, "they were showing some blue whale thing on tv where kids die, do you do that on your phone?" , haha, this had me and my brother laughing pretty dang hard. But yeah she was just concerned.
-- Ok so we as normal grown up adults were discussing one day in office, like what is so strong about the game that the kid would even kill himself and some of us even said, lets try playing and we would know. Stupid idea though.
-- But i researched further to find out, how do we play this game and heard some hour long sessions of news channels on this issue. Some says there is an app for it which you download in your phone, which is no further available on india's network. OR the more effective explanation is : its via social media such as Instagram,Facebook where the curators of blue whale get in touch with the participant when those interested throw posts on social medias asking for a 'curator'. A number of hashtags— #bluewhalechallenge, #curatorfindme, #i_am_whale — act as signals for anonymous curators.
-- One of the very revealing cases we witnessed in india, is of a 17 year old girl from Rajasthan state of India in which the girl did not want to commit suicide.
Then what?
The curators scared her by sending her location and saying if you do not complete task 50, some harm is coming your mother's way.
(Imagine the poor kid's situation)
So the girl jumped into one of the locals lake, fortunately she was saved by local police and that is how the story unfolded, because she was alive to tell all this herself.
-- If you look at the task list below, you will see, the kids are asked to BECOME A WHALE BY DOING ALL THIS AND THEY RECITE THE MANTRA "I AM A WHALE". Whereas on steemit, we find good whales.

He is former psychology student from Russia and was expelled from university.He claims that his purpose of creating the game was to clean the society by manipulating 'those who deemed as of no value to society' by pushing them to commit suicide.
What can we do to save some kids around?
-- We can make their parents aware, believe me, the kind of busy lives we lead, some of the highly educated parents are not even aware that something like this is going on and they need to keep an eye on their child.
-- We can notice the activities of the kids (we know or we see in park in day-to-day life or the kids who are our friends or the kids we mentor).
-- Never forget, it is equally our responsibility to eradicate the bad stuff out of this world and spread the good ones only. Let some GOOD-KARMA blow around.
