In the Steemit Welcome Page, there is a section of "Helpful Posts from Steemit Users". I would like to add a post that has a collection of helpful suggestions from the community!

[Edit] Please try to keep the comments on topic of 'suggestions from the community'. Talking about changes to the platform, the roadmap, etc. are all great conversations to have - but this post (which new users will be reading for advice on getting started with the platform) is not the best place to have those discussions ;)
