Hextracoin is a lending platform like Bitconnect, Hexabot and Bitpetite. It says it has a trading bot bla bla bla and basically, "give us your money and we will make you rich".
Hexabot and Bitpetite have been proven to be 100% scams and a lot of people lost their money. Now it seems Hextracoin has followed this long list of scam sites.
Just before Christmas the site went down and via their Twitter account they promised they would be back. True to their word they did come back.
The main page is now some proper dodgy looking thing I could of whipped up in notepad in 30 seconds.
The problem is they have forced users to sell their Hextracoin at a price no one is willing to pay for it. Not only that but people who do have Bitcoin in there have tried to take it out, the website says the transaction was successful but there is nothing showing on blockchain.info
Their last communication on Twitter was 13th January.
If they have run away with millions of BTC, they have had some nerve to not only exit scam, but to come back in the hopes of getting a little extra from people who trust them before completely leaving.
This is the third site I know of (and I'm sure there are more) that have claimed to have a trading bot and it has been an outright lie. That just leaves Bitconnect, which I can't see being any different.
Stay safe out there people, avoid these scams.
As usual thanks for listening
Happy Steeming Steemers and Steemettes.
