"But at least you are back." (The girl said.) She looked at her brother as he sat on the bed they shared.
"Yes," (Her brother said.) "And I have good news." He had just received news that they were no longer prisoners, but were a part of a bigger organization.
"What's that?" (The girl asked.)
"We are now a part of a larger organization," (Her brother said.) "And we are going to get freedom."
"How?" (The girl asked.)
"I'm not sure yet," (Her brother said.) "A few days ago we were caught by the government and treated to a luxury tour of sorts. Making our way through the city has given me enough time to contemplate our situation and think of the possibilities."
"So what do you think?" (The girl asked.)
"I think," (Her brother said.) "That we only have to free ourselves. We do not have to wait for freedom to arrive."
"I'm glad you feel this way," (The girl said.)
"As I am," (Her brother said.) "I think it is the only way that we will ever be able to escape from this prison that housed us for so many years."
"And many of those years," (The girl said.) "were the hardest years in our life. Living in a house that was almost a perfect rectangle. The food was bland and ordinary. The clothes we wore didn't fit, and were so boring and ordinary. And to top it all off, the walls of the house were so confining and small. And the windows were always locked and covered."
"I know it was hard sister," (Her brother said.) "And I remember all of this as if it were yesterday. But now I have a plan."
"What kind of plan?" (The girl asked.)
"A plan to use the mistakes of the past to give us the future we want," (Her brother said. "Tomorrow the guards will take us out of this house and into unfamiliar territory. And then, after wandering aimlessly for days, we will be trapped in a corner. And from there we will be forced to fight against the guards with all of our might."
"That seems like a bad idea," (The girl said.)
"It is, but it is a good plan," (Her brother said.) "We will need to fight them. We will need to make use of our powers. And the more we use these powers, the stronger we will become. It is then, and only then, when we will become stronger than the guards, that we will be able to escape. And then we will be free."
"We can be free," (The girl said.) "I better dream of the day. I would like to see the sun and the moon."
"Good," (Her brother said.) "And I will do my best to be with you when that day comes."
"I can't wait for that day to come," (The girl said.)
"Neither can I," (Her brother said.)
And so, the next day and all of the days to come, the walls of their prison and their captors would regret it.
