Hello Hive Family
First of all, I want to say a big thank you for stopping by to read my post. This is officially my first ever post on Hive, and I’m so excited and a little nervous too . I know it might not be perfect, but I believe every journey begins with a first step and this is mine.
My name is Esther Adekunle, and I’m proudly from Ogun State, Nigeria. I studied Computer Science at Ekiti State University, and just like many fresh graduates, I faced the tough reality of job hunting after school. It wasn’t easy, and at some point, I had to pause and ask myself, “What next?”
That question led me to learn a new skill—I trained to become a baker and an event planner. It gave me purpose and helped me stay creative and focused, even when things weren’t going as planned.
A Twist Of Destiny Becoming a Freelancer
As life would have it, I never imagined I would find myself walking the path of freelancing. I’m still learning, exploring, and discovering what this journey holds for me. It’s not something I planned, but it’s something I’m starting to love.
I have to thank my cousin, @amazing23, for introducing me to Hive. Without him, I wouldn't be writing this today. He encouraged me, showed me around, and gave me the little push I needed to finally take this leap.
Aside from baking and planning events, I absolutely love singing and listening to music, music helps me stay calm and inspired. I also enjoy writing down my thoughts, which is why I’m already starting to feel at home here on Hive.
I’m here to learn, connect, and grow. I look forward to sharing my journey as a learner, a freelancer, and hopefully one day, a professional who can inspire others like me. I know I’m still a work in progress, but I believe that’s what makes stories worth telling.
Thank you for welcoming me into this amazing community. I’m truly happy to be here and I hope to make beautiful connections along the way. Please feel free to say hello I’d love to meet new friends!
With love,
Esther Adekunle
