Here you can see works of art that have been made of pewter and are supposed to represent the well-known Linderhof Palace which was built by King Ludwig II (1845 - 1886) who is also revered as a fairy tale king and this palace fits very well with this title. The works of art were made of pewter and as an artist is Wilhelm Schweizer Pewter, who already has a centuries-old art tradition and the works of art are really remarkable and reflect this theme with a high degree of detail. Previously, the castle was a house designed for hunting trips by his father Max II (1811 - 1864) and Ludwig decided to rebuilt it later and he oriented himself to the French architecture of the 18th century and for the construction he oriented himself to the French Baroque and in addition other influences have also emerged and for the construction of the park he thought of England as well as the Italian Renaissance as a model and as the architect of the park was Carl von Effner known. A model for the construction was the Versailles Palace, which is one of the largest palace facilities in Europe and until the French Revolution in the 17th century was the headquarters of the kings of France.
