Hello guys!
Today I just want to talk to you about some conspiracy theories. A conspiracy theory (also called plot theory) suggests giving a vision of the history perceived as the product of the action of an occult group acting in the shadow. It is more than a simple rumor. It is about a theoretical narrative which claims itself coherent and tries to demonstrate the existence of a plot understood as the fact that a small group of powerful people coordinates in secret to plan and undertake an illegal and fatal action affecting the course of events. And even if official and scientific arguments break these stories, conspiracy theorists and people who believe in them will also try to find arguments to break those scientific arguments.

It is a phenomenon way more expanded than you think: for example, around 80% of French people believe in at least one conspiracy theory, and this number is increasing in these last years, with this wave of attacks everywhere in the world. For example, more than one half of the French population believes that the French government is in cahoots with the pharmaceutical industry to hide from the general public the reality on the harmfulness of vaccines and that the CIA has something to do with the assassination of John F. Kennedy. It is almost the same numbers for America.
People who believe in conspiracy theories have the tendency to think that all the historic events happen for a reason and that they are all linked (in a hidden way). Generally, they convey a hatred of power and of the elites. According to them, these elites would try to manipulate the populations, to allow them to keep the power. States begin to teach more and more people about these theories.
Conspiracy theories arrive when people feel like they are not in control of what happens. And clearly, a lot of people are not interested in politics, and in that way, they do not understand what is truly happening. Of course, governments and secret services hide a lot of things to us, but I think normal that everybody does not have access to all the state's secrets. I give you a few examples (I have tried to not take the most famous) to help you better understand the concept! But if you are interested in it, do not hesitate to make your own research, some conspiracy theories are really illogical and it is worth going to see!
Some examples
Russia
Conspiracy theories can also be conveyed by some states: for example, the well-known (and I think official) media "Russia Today" has shared an article from Sputnik which described in one of its articles: "the Holodomor Hoax". They describe it like a lie created by the "West propaganda machine" in the 30's by the West powers, supported by Nazi and pro-Ukrainian, in their fight against socialism and communism. You can easily find that article on the web if you are interested! In all their article, they try to demonstrate why and how West powers have issued those assumptions.

Obama
A conspiracy theory studies the fact that Obama was not an American, but is, in fact, a Muslim arrived in the US in connection with the Islamic jihad. They try in that way to discredit him. Even Donald Trump reuses this theory! Another big problem in conspiracy theories is that they cannot accept to be refuted: for example, when Obama gave his full-length birth certificate to make them shut, they did not want to believe him.

Lizards ruling the world
There is that idea that the top echelon of the world power is in fact composed by shape-shifting reptilians aliens, who have been ruling humans to make them into mindless slaves for their own purposes. In 2013, 12 millions of the US population thought that it was true! That is in part based on the Bible.

So OK, maybe you don't have to believe in anything the media bring to you but don't forget to stay critical when you receive any information. A good way to resolve this huge problem of conspiracy theories interest by people is mostly through education!
I hope this article pleased you!
