Once upon a time in the French court of Henri II, he was presented with gifts to celebrate his coronation. One of which was a hairy 'wild man' with the name of Pedro Gonzalez, who was actually a child from the Canary Islands. Being an enlightened sort, the king educated the newly-dubbed Petrus, and treated him more or less, as a human rather than beast.
The mother of the French King fancied herself a matchmaker and selected the daughter of one of the court servants. Her goal: to breed more 'wild men' and gift them to those she wished to favor.
And that's exactly what happened. Petrus and his wife begat several children, and the ones with abnormal hair growth were given to courtiers, while as children.
Petrus and his wife ended up leaving the French court and settled in Italy, the guest of a nobleman, and managed several estates.
You can watch the documentary right here! Boo yeah! Why reward Disney, when history is better (imho)?
