Drive ins are a thing of the past. They are few and far between anymore. Except for this small town in Arkansas. Hiding in the quaint town of Marshall behind a small tree grove, this historic landmark is alive and well. You will find a giant line of cars before the gates open for the flood of movie lovers and parents wanting to expose their children to this bit of nostalgia.
My family of 6 are regulars at Kenda. With a small fee to get in the gate, cheap food and a wide open field for the littles to run, it is a must, multiple times every summer.
Thursdays are family fun night with free admission, cotton candy, and snow cones every child (and adults) dream. On the weekend you can see a double feature of the latest movies.
You can follow them on Facebook for more information and what movies are showing each night.
