For our 8-month anniversary, we went over to this new franchise in town called La Qdra. It is a smash-burger joint. The idea of the place is to give an experience similar to what people order in the United States. At least, that is the idea. Venezuelan fast food is usually really abundant in comparison.
There are convos of burgers and this is the one we got. It comes with two doubles, a soda and fries. The fries were ok. They put some of the larger ones on the top and the bottom fries were small. They were crisp and that's a long in favor. They also were properly seasoned.
The burgers were different. One was a classic burger with lettuce, tomato, cheese and aeoli. The bun is soft. It also has two patties. That makes up for the fact that they are smash burgers. The second was my favorite. It is a burger without vegetables. It has two patties, bacon, pickles, ketchup and cheese. It is by the far the kind of thing I would order.
I wonder if they would understand burger jargon. Could I order an animal style burger? I hope they also come with the idea of making other specialty burgers like a Juicy Lucy and the Oklahoma burger. It would be awesome.
I know for a fact that @octocel enjoyed our celebration date. We ate half of each burger and share the rest. It was a quite afternoon. A perfect time to share a burger with your significant other.
The burgers are good and their prices are not crazy. This combo was 13.99$. for the things it brings, it is more than ok. But they have cheeper options that might be better for people who go out to eat alone.
