Today, I doing a follow-up on my last Sunday's post about the kitchen appliance you should not buy. However, today is all about some praise for another kind of popcorn maker.
Hamilton Beach is a brand that has become somewhat popular around the stores that sell electronics appliances. You can see different models of things if you get to any of the places that sell these devices.
The popcorn maker comes in different sizes, colors and shapes. This is the one mom got after the other fiasco. From a simple look, it is a more robust design. You can see the details of it having a better size to dissipate heat, something important for such an appliance.
This one comes with a measuring cup that doubles as a butter-melting cup. I don't like butter in my popcorn, but it is a nice touch. Having the right measure for the popcorn is also nice. It can take 1/2 a cup of popcorn. It turn, it can make up to 18 cups of popcorn in one sitting. That's equivalent to 4.3 liters of it. Remember liters is a capacity measure, popcorn that would fit in a container of 4.3 liters.
It is fast and makes lots of popcorn. Nothing else is needed from such a device. It's been making lots of popcorn since we bought and we couldn't be happier we don't have to wash pans or clean oil. Best part, popcorn comes out crisp (although that depends on the corn kernel). This one I'd recommend!
