- Good evening, hivefood friends, welcome back to my blog... This time, I'm sharing with you the process for a VERY delicious, nutritious, and healthy recipe. I'll explain how to prepare an "exquisite potato soup with carrots and chives". What I love MOST about this dish is its wonderful creaminess and the appetizing contrast provided by the sautéed chives... Let's put on our aprons!
- Buenas noches amigos de hivefood, bienvenidos de nuevo a mi blog... En esta ocasión, comparto con ustedes el proceso de una receta MUY deliciosa, nutritiva y saludable, les explicaré como preparar una "exquisita crema de patatas, con zanahoria y cebollín". Lo que MÁS amo de éste platillo es su maravillosa cremosidad y el apetitoso contraste que aporta el sofrito de cebollín... Pongámonos el delantal!
- INGREDIENTS: carrots, chives, garlic cloves, vegetable broth, butter, pepper, olive oil, sesame seeds and salt.
- INGREDIENTES: patatas, zanahoria, cebollín, dientes de ajo, caldo de verduras, mantequilla, pimienta, aceite de oliva, semilla de sésamo y sal.
- To make this dish, I used 2 liters of vegetable broth that I had set aside from previous recipes. Cook the carrots and potatoes over medium-high heat. When the vegetables are semi-soft, add the garlic cloves.
- Para realizar este platillo utilicé 2 litros de caldo de verduras que tenía reservado de recetas anteriores... Cocinamos a fuego "medio-alto" la zanahoria, junto con las patatas. Cuando las verduras estén "semi-blandas" integramos los dientes de ajo.
- Once the cooking time is up, our vegetables are ready... We remove the garlic cloves.
- Transcurrido el tiempo de cocción nuestras verduras están listas... Extraemos los dientes de ajo.
- Add the vegetables and broth to the blender container and blend on high speed until smooth and lump-free. Season with pepper and salt. Add 1 heaped teaspoon of powdered milk; this ingredient will add a delicious flavor!
- Incorporamos al vaso de la licuadora las verduras junto con el caldo, licuamos a velocidad "alta" hasta conseguir una consistencia homogénea y sin grumos. Aliñamos con: pimienta y sal... Agregamos 1 cucharadita colmada de leche en polvo, éste ingrediente aportará un sabor MUY exquisito!

- Fry the chives in a nonstick pan, add a touch of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of butter... Cook until lightly browned. Add a pinch of salt. Add our delicious sofrito to the creamed vegetables and mix until well combined. When ready to serve, garnish with chives and sesame seeds.
- Sofreímos en un sartén antiadherente el cebollín, integramos un toquesito de aceite de oliva y 1 cucharadita de mantequilla... Cocinamos hasta que se doré un poco. Añadimos un toquesito de sal. Colocamos nuestro apetitoso sofrito a la crema de verduras, mezclamos hasta integrar bien... Al momento de emplatar decoramos con cebollín y semillas de sésamo.
