Since I got home early, I decided to make some cookies to eat with a nice hot chocolate at night before going to bed. Nothing like a sweet homemade treat to end this humid day!
I made chocolate butter cookies and sprinkled them with shredded coconut.
For this quick and easy recipe, I used the following
Ingredients:
- 280 g wheat flour
- 100 g sugar
- 150 g unsalted margarine
- 50 g chocolate powder
- 1 egg
- Pinch of salt
Como llegué temprano a casa, decidí hacer unas galletas para comerlas con un buen chocolate caliente en la noche antes de acostarnos. ¡Nada como un dulce capricho casero para cerrar este húmedo día!
Les cuento que elaboré galletas de mantequilla de chocolate las que polvoree con coco rallado.
Para esta rápida y sencilla receta, utilicé los siguientes
Ingredientes:
- 280 g de harina de trigo
- 100 g de azúcar
- 150 g de margarina sin sal
- 50 g de chocolate en polvo
- 1 huevo
- Pizca de sal
To prepare it, the first thing I did was to put the egg and the pinch of salt in a bowl, which I mixed very well with a whisk.
Para su preparación lo primero que hice fue ,colocar en un recipiente el huevo y la pizca de sal, los cuales mezclé muy bien con el batidor.
Then, I added the 100 g of sugar and again mixed with the whisk until the sugar was well incorporated into the egg.
Luego, le incorporé los 100 g de azúcar y nuevamente mezclé con el batidor hasta que quedaran bien incorporada el azúcar al huevo.
Next, I added the 150 g of unsalted margarine. Although you can use any margarine that does not contain salt, even butter if that is what you have at home.
A continuación, agregué los 150 g de margarina sin sal. Aunque pueden usar cualquier margarina que no contenga sal, incluso hasta mantequilla si es lo que tienen en casa.
When it was well mixed, I added the 280 g of wheat flour little by little until it became a homogeneous dough.

Finally, add the 50 g of chocolate powder. Continue kneading the dough by hand until it has the ideal texture. Then carefully flatten it with the rolling pin, leaving it approximately 5 millimeters thick.
Por último, añadí los 50 g de chocolate en polvo. Continúe amasando con la mano la masa hasta que tenga la textura ideal. Luego la aplane cuidadosamente con el rodillo, dejándola aproximadamente 5 milímetros de grosor.
With the help of the molds, I began to shape what would be my cookies. When they were ready, I sprinkled some of them with shredded coconut because my son and husband love that combination of chocolate and coconut and it is always good to please their tastes, they do the same with me.
Con la ayuda de los moldes, comencé a darle forma a lo que serían mis galletas. Cuando estuvieron listas algunas las espolvoreé con coco rallado porque esa combinación de chocolate y coco a mi hijo y esposo les fascina y siempre es bueno complacerlos los gustos, ellos hacen lo mismo conmigo.
Once all the cookies were molded, I baked them in the oven for 18 minutes at 350 °F (about 175 °C). Then, I took them out of the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Here you can see how these delicious chocolate cookies with coconut sprinkles turned out.
