It's always nice to relive pleasant moments, but it's even better to go back to those flavors we love so much. This time I was running some errands in the north of Bogota and for lunch we decided to visit one of the KFC franchises. The chicken at this place is world renowned for its delicious flavor and that exquisite crunchy texture.
The place as always very organized, with those striking phrases on the walls and super dim lights that make the moment something very nice, there were not many people but I think I like it that way because the atmosphere is quieter. This time we didn't want to order the same fried chicken as always, we wanted to try a new chicken sandwich combo that caught our attention, besides that it was on promotion so the idea was perfect.
I had high expectations about its appearance and taste because it looked like a hamburger. The combo consists of two "Bbq crunch" sandwiches and I already loved that because it was composed of a fairly thick piece of breaded chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, chips and a bbq based sauce with a divine spicy touch, a portion of chicken "pop corn" which is basically breaded chicken in the shape of a "cotufa" with spices and some spice (very tasty), two servings of potatoes and two drinks.
All for a price of 29,900 Colombian pesos (7.25 $) which I found super affordable considering it is for two people. The truth is that this sandwich exceeded my expectations, the bread was super soft with that perfect texture, also with a touch of butter flavor that made it magical, which combined with the other ingredients made an explosion in my mouth, really good.
I think that next time I will definitely have to try other of their burger proposals. I like it because they offer products with mild spicy touches that completely enhance the experience. Although I was quite tired which shows a lot in my eyes I enjoyed the food to the fullest, the attention in general also seemed good to me.
This time we went for the sandwich option which we loved, but next time I will definitely go again for something I haven't tried before at this place. After eating I spent the rest of the afternoon very happy because as you know "belly full heart happy".

Siempre es grato revivir momentos agradables, pero es aún mejor volver a esos sabores que tanto nos gustan. En esta oportunidad estaba haciendo algunas diligencias en el norte de Bogotá y para el almuerzo decidimos visitar una de las franquicias de KFC. El pollo de este lugar es mundialmente reconocido por su delicioso sabor y esa textura crujiente exquisita.
El local como siempre muy organizado, con esas llamativas frases en las paredes y luces super tenues que hacen del momento algo muy agradable, no había mucha gente pero creo que me gusta de esa manera porque el ambiente resulta más tranquilo. Esta vez no quisimos pedir el mismo pollo frito de siempre sino probar un nuevo combo de sandwich de pollo que nos llamó mucho la atención, además de eso estaba en promoción así que la idea fue perfecta.
Tenía bastantes expectativas sobre su aspecto y sabor porque parecía una hamburguesa. El combo consta de dos sandwich "Bbq crunch" y ya eso me encantaba porque se componía de una pieza bastante gruesa de pechuga de pollo apanada, lechuga, tomate, papitas y una salsa a base de bbq con toque picante divina, una ración de "pop corn" de pollo que es básicamente pollo apanado en forma de cotufa con especies y algo de picante (muy rico), dos raciones de papas y dos bebidas.
Todo por un precio de 29.900 pesos colombianos (7.25 $) lo que me pareció super accesible considerando que es para dos personas. La verdad este sandwich superó mis expectativas, el pan estaba super suave con esa textura perfecta, además con un toque de sabor a mantequilla que lo hacía mágico, lo que combinado con lo demás ingredientes hicieron una explosión en mi boca, bastante bueno la verdad.
Creo que la próxima vez sin duda tengo que probar otras de sus propuestas en hamburguesas. Me gusta porque ofrecen productos con toques picantes suaves que mejoran por completo la experiencia. Aunque estaba bastante cansada lo cual se nota mucho en mis ojos disfruté al máximo la comida, la atención en general también me pareció buena.
Esta vez nos fuimos por la opción del sandwich el cual nos encantó, pero la próxima vez de seguro me iré nuevamente por algo que no haya probado antes en este sitio. Después de comer pasé el resto de la tarde muy feliz porque como saben "barriga llena corazón contento".
