this is veemahfashion and i have come here to Share with us my little idea on how i made this tasty jollof rice for my family.
After the morning breakfast, i noticed that their is no other food left at home for them to eat in the afternoon. But i quickly remembered that I have a little quantity of stew in my deep freezer. so i quickly pill it out and decided to use to make jollof rice
for my kids.
These are the ingredients i used in achieving
the jollof rice.
--- fresh pepper
---- onions
----seasoning cubes
---- curry and thyme
---- onga stew spices
---- salt
----- groundnut oil etc
So i measured four cups of rice, parboiled it
in hot water, wash it and kept it aside.
I pour in my old remaining stew inside the pot, add a little quantity of water, add my blended pepper , onions and crayfish.
add my groundnut oil, seasoning cubes,curry, thyme, onga for stew, salt etc
Cover it for a few minutes and allow it to boil. then you pour the parboil rice inside the rice sauce, turn it properly and cover it for about 15-20 minutes.
Make sure you cook on a low heat, after that you add your margarine butter and then cover it with a foil paper.
Turn it properly and put the food down.ready
to be served.
