SPOILER 👀: Lo único bueno que diré sobre #ETECSA en este post es que fue más rápida en spamear sus promociones que yo a la hora de felicitarlos a todos por año nuevo 😂.
He estado un poco desconectado de la #blockchain pero en la medida en que algunas cosas vayan tomando estabilidad en mi vida real, le prestaré más atención a mi blog y a las comunidades de las que formo parte en #Hive.
Por eso, antes de entrar en el "pollo del arroz con pollo" (@janetedita, 2022) de esta publicación, quiero desearles a todos mis amigos #hivers, especialmente a los de las comunidades de #HiveCuba y HivePizza.

ETECSA, VIEJA, HASTA CUANDO EL ABUSO.
La Empresa de Telecomunicaciones de Cuba (ETECSA) ha estado traviesa en este comienzo de año y se ha propuesto establecer récord de velocidades más lentas en las conexiones por WiFi o datos móviles.
Yo solo espero que esa lentitud en las conexiones sean producto de la instalación de un nuevo cable de fibra óptica, que según la noticia publicada el pasado 7 de diciembre, vendría desde Martinica hacia Cienfuegos para mejorar la demanda de servicios de internet de banda ancha.
Pero lo peor de la pésima velocidad de transferencia de datos es que no se pueden aprovechar los paquetes que oferta ETECSA, mucho menos los bonos de 40 GB o de internet ilimitado que vinieron con las últimas promociones de recarga internacional de 2022.
Y aquí caemos directo en el tema de si son rentables las recargas internacionales:
Quizás para un familiar que vive en el extranjero no es problema recargarte y, sin pensarlo mucho, paga los 20 dolares (500 pesos) que cuesta la promoción de ETECSA.
Pero para el cubano de a pie, luchador y/o raspador hasta del último quilo es importante economizar y saber qué le puede brindar más dinerito, por eso, aquí va el consejo de este humilde servidor:
¡Que el familiar o amigo extranjero te envíe criptomonedas!
Recuerda que el dolar en el mercado informal varía por encima de los 160 pesos cubanos, por lo que por cada dolar que tu familiar te envíe en criptomonedas recibirías casi el !SÉXTUPLE! de saldo.
Vean la siguiente tabla con los costes de la recarga. En la segunda columna se representa el valor según la tasa "oficial" de cambio de 1 dólar por 25 pesos cubanos y en la tercera, la tasa del "mercado informal" de divisas, en la cual 1 dólar equivale más menos a 160 pesos:

Estamos hablando de 2700 pesos de diferencia en el primer caso, una suma considerable que quedaría como "excedente" si tu familiar quiere remesarte usando criptomonedas, y aún así tendrías los otros 500 pesos para comprar el plan de datos de internet de ese valor.
Pero teniendo en cuenta que muchas de las promociones de ETECSA traen cositas con muchas mayúsculas como "!QUINTUPLICA TU SALDO!" o "!INTERNET ILIMITADO! de 12 a.m. a 7 a. m.", se impone otra tablita comparativa:

Como se puede apreciar, aún con el quintuple de saldo de la oferta de ETECSA el valor del dolar en el mercado informal es muy alto y recibirías más dinero recibiendo dinero de tu familiar por remesa con criptomonedas. La única ventaja real que ha tenido una promoción hasta ahora es el internet ilimitado, y si lo piensas mucho, tampoco da negocio estar de 12 a 7 a.m. como custodio de vigilancia y protección descargando cosas. 😂
Ahora, te preguntarás cómo ese familiar te puede remesar usando criptomonedas.
Existen muchas vías, pero la que yo recomendaría enormemente sería usar la #LightningNetwork de #Bitcoin por su rapidez y sencillez a la hora de remesar. Te dejo con algunos tutoriales de amigos #cuhivers y un video explicativo de la vía que yo recomiendo de la mano del papá de las mieles en Cuba, Erich García Cruz.

I've been a bit disconnected from the #blockchain but as some things take stability in my real life, I'll pay more attention to my blog and the communities I'm a part of on #Hive.
So, before I get into the "arroz con pollo" (@janetedita, 2022) of this post, I want to wish all my #hivers friends, especially those in the #HiveCuba and HivePizza communities.

ETECSA, OLD LADY, HOW LONG WILL THE ABUSE GO ON?
The Cuban Telecommunications Company (ETECSA) has been naughty at the beginning of the year and has set a record for the slowest speeds in WiFi or mobile data connections.
I only hope that the slow connections are the result of the installation of a new fiber optic cable, which according to the news published last December 7, would come from Martinique to Cienfuegos to improve the demand for broadband internet services.
But the worst thing about the lousy data transfer speed is that it is not possible to take advantage of the packages offered by ETECSA, much less the 40 GB or unlimited internet bonuses that came with the last international recharge promotions of 2022.
And here we fall right into the issue of whether international recharges are profitable:
Perhaps for a relative living abroad it is not a problem to recharge and, without thinking much, pay the 20 dollars (500 pesos) that costs the ETECSA promotion.
But for the ordinary Cuban, fighter and / or scraper to the last kilo is important to economize and know what can bring you more money, so here is the advice of this humble servant:
Have the foreign relative or friend send you cryptocurrencies!
Remember that the dollar in the informal market varies above 160 Cuban pesos, so for every dollar that your relative sends you in cryptocurrencies you would receive almost !SÉXTUPLE! of balance.
See the following table with the recharge costs. The second column shows the value according to the "official" exchange rate of 1 dollar for 25 Cuban pesos and the third column shows the "informal market" exchange rate, in which 1 dollar is equivalent to 160 pesos:|COST |x 25CUP|x 160 CUP|

We are talking about 2700 pesos difference in the first case, a considerable sum that would remain as "surplus" if your relative wants to remit you using cryptocurrencies, and you would still have the other 500 pesos to buy the internet data plan of that value.
But taking into account that many of ETECSA's promotions include things with many capital letters such as "QUINTUPLE YOUR BALANCE!" or "!FREE INTERNET! from 12 a.m. to 7 a.m.", another comparative table is necessary:

As you can see, even with the five times the balance of ETECSA's offer, the value of the dollar in the informal market is very high and you would receive more money receiving money from your relative by remittance with cryptocurrencies. The only real advantage that has had a promotion so far is the unlimited internet, and if you think about it a lot, neither gives business to be from 12 to 7 a.m. as custodian of surveillance and protection downloading things. 😂
Now, you may wonder how that relative can remit to you using cryptocurrencies.
There are many ways, but the one I would highly recommend would be to use the #LightningNetwork of #Bitcoin for its speed and simplicity when it comes to remittance.
