I fully agree with @livinguktaiwan...this is a difficult post to do! Not because I don't have enough to select, on the contrary, there are too many and reducing the list to 3 is quite complicated.
It's my first time in this community and I'm happy to be here, I loved this initiative and I will try to do my best.
I've only been on Hive for 6 months and I've read so many memorable posts. From the writing, originality, topics, beautiful places, spectacular photographs, art, music, knowledge, information, lifestyles, a whole compendium of good posts. If that has been in a few months, I can imagine how difficult this challenge will be for those who have been around longer.
To facilitate my selection I will focus on the first ones that had an impact on me.
The content of @nanixxx is very much her own, her writing style stands out and captivates. She makes you reflect, learn and above all laugh, laugh a lot, but her photos...that's another level. This post Still dancing in my hand was published before I joined Hive, even so I read it and I was hooked. The first thing was the photos...I fell in love with all of them and fantasized about the remote idea of one day being able to take a photo like that (I suck 😆). The subject of this publication is very close to my heart. I have a teenage daughter and it's a reality that screens have taken kids away from outdoor play. They are a different generation than ours, not to say worse or better, just different. That's what this excellent post is about.
We just did it, nothing was impossible - HiveBeeCon! It was the first post I read from @mipiano, I loved her diaphanous and simple way of telling stories, with a subtle sense of humor and impeccable writing. The post narrated a meeting that some hivers had in Krakow on the occasion of the HiveBeeCon. I longed for the freedom to be able to do what they did, just decide to go, whether by plane, train or car, no matter how, it was up to them to decide whether to attend or not. Unfortunately for us Cubans it is not so easy, not only the monetary issue (which is also there), the most difficult thing is the procedure to be able to leave the country, it is almost utopian. And there I was, reading and imagining that someday I will be in a similar event. 💪
Last, but not least, is the publication Mt. Maagnaw: Our first taste of Bukidnon's mighty Kitanglad Mountain Range by @mariasalve. A narrative full of adventurous spirit, challenges, adrenaline, traditions, beautiful places. Reading it moved me almost as if I had climbed those mountains with her and I wished deep down that I had done it. I love that lifestyle, I have done some interesting climbing, but I think that the taste for that kind of adventure has come into my life a little late ðŸ¤. I still try to do it whenever I can and enjoy it to the fullest.
A difficult selection in which I have left out many good publications of these and other authors, but it is only an initiative. Reading and enjoying quality content is guaranteed, in this, our HIVE community.
