In the last days of 2023 it’s a comment that I received that is longer than I have seen in a long time. I got a notification so it’s always worth reading right? Nice or not nice? Well it’s different from the other ones, let’s say that, I like that.
Well intended aswell I am sure.
So this dear human as you called me , is not at all offended and is responding ofcourse at you request.
In this blog.
First let me take the time to tell you reading,
Hive is life and life can be hive and is different for everyone. We all have our own hive ride. Some started before Hive even existed, like me. In 20 days from now that journey for me started 6 years ago. Eventhough I am thankful for the reply and the advice, it’s still my journey and my way. Again not offended at all and criticism is good but we don’t have to take eachother up on it.
Helping out in what ever way, is good.
( I am sure you are here in your free time aswell helping out and delegating )
We started the terminal discord to help out and with the great staff we have , it’s become known as a place where problems are solved and help is given. Almost clock round due to staff that is worldwide. So thank you @theterminal and all you great members and staff. Same goes for @heyhaveyamet a project we have had for 5 years, in different compositions of hivers. Let’s say we do our best.

Imagine arriving and getting this... how would you feel?
First of all when you start every comment you get is a hurray moment just like an upvote. Even when it’s a small one. Hive can be daunting, so all information can help every newbee. The way you go about obtaining knowledge in the beginning is different for everyone. So whether new arrivals read it and benefit from it , or not is free of choice and totally up to the individual newbee. Most always I get a reply back and I love that. We all were new at one time.

This person put a great deal of effort and personal energy into her post. I just feel we should give more back. But that's just me.
Great that you say WE, because as a daily blogger and HHYM advocate and member we do! And its a DAILY WE who helps out, what are you doing daily to help the newbees grow their account? We most certainly do put energy in the search for and helping of new arrivals. Again not judging just answering your request.
Also worth a read to fix typos and, perhaps, edit to live more with current trends on time and reading?
That is easy and possible , than again I am not perfect and it’s not my mother tongue, and I don’t mind. Current trend is reading online , so why not just think that a new arrival might appreciate a message with hive info? He or she joined a blogging platform for a reason,
It's looooong. Repetitive and the info is just overwhelming. Nobody is going to take the time to click all of those links. It's too much like study /work and not enough fun, fun, fun!
Don’t judge others on your own opinion, many take the time and if they don’t that’s perfectly fine aswell, again hive is different for everyone! For the record: I like long btw.
Maybe simple is best and less repetition. A lot is repeated in James message below and can be eliminated from yours completely
I won’t eliminate because we are two hivers part of a team telling the same message because it’s important!
Also... you have a lovely way about you. Energy wise. It doesn't come through in this welcome at all.
Thank you, that doesn’t have to come through in the welcome, the energy is not important BUT the message is.
I'd suggest more you, less info and a more personal touch if possible.
Than I am the same as all the others who have short flawless comments, and it’s enough Britt for the first comment.

The sad face. Because she went to such effort and has such potential. A copy and paste is yucky. Especially if it's not as good as it could be.
Jucky, I will remember that word, and potentially every newbee went through effort getting the first blog out , that with or without reading the jucky message, and not so flawless message. But my experience is they need it and appreciate it.
Hive is better than that.
Better than my comment? Yes for sure and on top of that open source.
From here you lost me?
p.s. we've discussed this before, and now it's in here twice! Anybody who knows more about Meta and how they use the algorithms over there, and who is into personal growth or has left FB and Insta because of how unethical the developers are... will not stick around if you punt the addictive nature of Hive.Twice no less. They will run a mile.
And most people know about the way those platforms have been developed to addict users and turn them into products.
So yeah. After our discussion adding it twice seems kinda weird.
I have absolute faith that you can create something awesome with a bit more thought and infusion of YOU instead of info, info, info and warnings. Looking forward to reading it if you choose to!

*I was lost in the last part of your comment but I took time out of my precious evening to tell you my side and comment back. I also tell you I will do what I feel is good. If it’s nesseccary that is upon the receiver. Clearly you took time out of your life to point out twice that you feel I need to change, again not offended, but maybe focus on helping out like we do. Maybe your way , advice and comments are far better for Hive. The intro tag section is always full. You said it , Hive is better than that, and addictive?, well maybe that is for the user to decide.
I like to thank you for the comment and the fact you care. You do great on the platform and that’s good for both parties. Keep up the great comments and I can’t wait to see what you can do with and achieve for the newbees on Hive with the shorter comments and encouragement. You can always come to @heyhaveyamet every day and leave the three newbees we choose out with care , a comment to help out. Just in case they didn’t read our long and sort of the same ones.
