I must confess that I spent the first 40 years of my life without eating yogurt.

But at 40, I discovered that I had osteoporosis, so I had no choice but to activate and take charge of my healing.
One of the pillars for this was food, and in that way, I began to integrate yogurt in my daily diet.
Initially, I learned to eat it with pineapple jam and gradually I dared to try more and more ways to consume it. In sweet and salty recipes. As a main ingredient and as a supplement.
Now I make my own yogurt with a recipe that I’m very proud of because I’ve perfected it over time.
One of the ways I like to eat yogurt is as a dressing.I usually use it in salads and also as a protein companion. This dressing is a healthy substitute for mayonnaise.
Let’s go with the recipe
This is a recipe for people like me, who have little time available and few cooking skills, but who enjoy the combined flavors.
They only need three ingredients:
1 cup yogurt
1 teaspoon salt
1 or 2 tablespoons lemon juice
I prefer to use homemade yogurt, but you can use a commercial yogurt. Ideally, it should be natural (no flavor added).
If you use yogurt, thick or Greek style, the dressing will have a creamier consistency. If you prefer nonfat yogurt, you know the consistency will be more liquid.
A spoonful of lemon juice is enough, but if you are like me, I love the acidity, see increasing the amount of lemon juice until you reach the desiredacidity.
With salt, it’s the same. A quarter teaspoon is enough, but you can adjust it to your taste and even, you can not use it if necessary for your health.
And with just mixing, you will have this delicious and ultra-fast dressing to prepare that will be excellent with any of your meals.

Lo que no se puede discutir, es que sus beneficios son apreciados en todas partes del mundo y desde tiempos remotos, como alimento y hasta en la cosmética natural.
He de confesar que yo pasé los primeros 40 años de mi vida sin comer yogurt.
Ese dogma que acarreamos de no comer lo que en casa no se come.
Pero a los 40, descubrí que tenía osteoporosis, así que no me quedó más opción que activarme y tomar las riendas de mi sanación.
Uno de los pilares para ello era la alimentación, y de esa forma, comencé a integrar el yogurt en mi dieta diaria.
Inicialmente, aprendí a comerlo con mermelada de piña y poco a poco me animé a probar más y más formas de consumirlo. En recetas dulces y saladas. Como ingrediente principal y como complemento.
Ahora hago mi propio yogurt con una receta de la que estoy muy orgullosa porque la he ido perfeccionando con el tiempo.
Una de las formas en las que más me gusta comer yogurt es como aderezo.
Acostumbro usarlo en ensaladas y también como acompañante de proteínas.
Este aderezo es un saludable sustituto de la mayonesa.
Vamos con la receta
Esta es una receta para personas como yo, que tienen poco tiempo disponible y pocas habilidades en la cocina, pero que disfrutamos de los sabores combinados.
Solo necesitan tres ingredientes:
1 taza de yogurt
1 cucharadita de sal
1 ó 2 cucharadas de jugo de limón
Yo prefiero usar el yogurt hecho en casa, pero puedes utilizar uno comercial. Lo ideal es que sea natural (sin sabor añadido).
Si usas yogurt, espeso o estilo griego, el aderezo tendrá una consistencia más cremosa. Si prefieres el yogurt descremado, ya sabes que la consistencia será más líquida.
Una cucharada de jugo de limón suele ser suficiente, pero si eres como a mí, que me encanta la acidez, ve aumentando la cantidad de jugo de limón hasta que alcances la acidez deseada.
Con la sal, pasa lo mismo. Un cuarto de cucharadita es suficiente, pero puedes ajustarla a tu gusto e inclusive, puedes no utilizarla de ser necesario para tu salud.
Y con tan solo mezclar, vas a tener este aderezo delicioso y ultra rápido de preparar que quedará excelente con cualquiera de tus comidas.
