These photos were taken in Sidomulyo Village, North Aceh, near the Rayap River. If you've ever been there, you'll see a lot of common blue jewels (Heliocypha perforata - Percheron, 1835), which is perched on twigs or rocks. They occasionally fly low over the river's surface.
