Beautiful beetle is walking on the ground

Wow, today I found a sago beetle walking on the sandy ground. It looks like this beetle is no longer able to fly, because one of its wings has a scratch. Maybe he had just been attacked by his opponent, or maybe there was another obstacle that resulted in an injury to his wing.

This beetle reminds me of the past when I was a child. Where my friends and I often catch this beetle which we then make as a toy. We tied this beetle with thread and we flew it, it was a lot of fun in those days.

Maybe today's children do not know about this game because they have been accompanied by the world of gadgets. I think it's more fun to play the game of tying a rope to the sago beetle than playing gadgets. Although the game seems to hurt animals.

In the world of farming this beetle is one of the biggest enemies of the farmers. Namely this beetle can kill sago trees and coconut trees. They make nests in the tops of sago and coconut trees, they also eat the tops of these plants and slowly the plants where they stop will die due to the shoots being eaten.
