I don't get many insects on my balcony. Even though I do try to lure them with blooming flowers that I plant every year - they just ignore it. I guess second floor is a bit too high for some and they prefer to stay in the lower grasses. Once in a blue moon I get to see some butterflies. A bit more often wasps and bees. But it is still not as often as I would like.
But one day I went outside and I saw this guy warming up on the wall. First he scared me (that is because I don't like grasshoppers equally to moths), but then I run inside to grab my camera. I don't get to shoot them often you know.
Then I guess I got to close and he hopped to a nearby pelargonium plant. Stayed there for another shot. And off he goes...
I wonder of the Gecko that used to live between pots would like him :). Or even if he is still around.
