Hi guys!
Today I want to share with you an amazing experience I had few months ago in my city.
I have visited an insect exhibition. Since my youngest age I have always wondered to be an **entomologist **(that's why I am growing a mantis, that I'll share in the following posts), however my life brought me elsewhere. By the way, here is some pictures of some cool bugs!
This a red leaf bug or Extatosoma tiaratum. He is erbivorous and he try to coverhimself on trees, pretending to be... A leaf.
Look at this amazing buddy, this is a stick buddy or Bacillus rossius. The bug guy also measured him and it was 25cm!
Here comes my favourite, an orchid mantis, LOOK at her! She is not a common mantis (the green one you can often find in countryside), but she covers herself among flower petals to eat little flies or other little bugs.
Another kind of mantis, called dead leaf mantis. Way easier to breed than the orchid mantis.
Last but not least, here comes the STAR of the event, an giant beetle that I forgot how it is called. I was really shocked when I hold in my hand.
