So apparently this is the first season the Phillies have been in Minnesota since 2016? That's nuts. It was also Bryce Harper's first trip ever to Minnesota? That is also nuts.
But yeah, despite those cute facts, the Phillies' performance in Minneapolis was not so cute. Bryce Harper hit a two-run bomb early, but that's where the offensive success ended unfortunately. The Phils wouldn't score another run, and only recorded four hits ALL GAME. There was a pretty lengthy rain delay, so maybe that didn't help as they are on the road. Maybe after some rest they will be a more fresh team.
Ranger Suárez continues to struggle, he tacks on his fifth loss of the season and hasn't won a game since June 8th.
All in all the Phillies are obviously still in great shape in the big picture but, they can't become too complacent!
Seems like I'm beginning to rub the organization the wrong way... whoops! Hopefully reaching the majors soon though. Definitely starting to get harder lately.
