It has come to an agreement between the Atletico Madrid team and Diego Costa that he can leave on a Free agent before his contract expiration. His contract is supposed to end in the summer of 2021 but due to Personal reason he requested to leave the team which the team just agreed. There are many reason why he requested for transfer which is well know to him and also Luiz Suarez transfer also make him to make that decision. Costa has been suffering from injury and they are in need of a striker who could hold his position but Atletico Madrid are fortunate to sign Suarez that was released by the newly signed coach Koeman.
Since Suarez arrival to the team, Costa never had playing time and he is not really pleased with it, in order to pursue a new career he requested for transfer. However, there has been several rumours that he may return back to the premier league where he has already played with Chelsea before leaving in 2018 for Atletico Madrid. Many clubs are interested in signin6the rugged striker in England, the likes of Wolverhampton, Tottenham and Arsenal. But Arsenal are strongly interested in landing him as they are currently in need of player to reinforce their team due to their current situation.
If Arsenal could sign Diego Costa in the January transfer he will be a great addition and will help them away from the relegation zone.
