Genk vs Antwerp
Genk in the first week despite taking a 2-1 loss showed really good signs and they deservedmore. Their main issue which apparently also was there in the preparation is that they are aboe to keep it up for 60 minutes. Overall, they have a strong starting 11 and a good bench and look like a team that can be backed. Antwerp played a closed match at home against Union aiming for a point. Their A-Squad is ok but they have little to nothing on the bench with also some players who are looking to leave. I expect a match where Genk is the better team with all the initiative and the ability to create chances. I took 0.35 units on

Cercle Brugge vs Anderlecht
Anderlecht is a weird team, they put in one of the best performances in week playing with very high intensity and drive which helped by a poor Westerlo defense got them a 5-2 win. However, this was followed in Europe by a an extremely poor performance which got they eliminated for the Europa League. One of the differences between these matches was that one was played at home and the other away so there might be somewhat of a trend in there. Right now though, it feels like a form of the day team. One a good day they can be backed and on a bad day they can be opposed outright at high odds. Cercle Bruggeplayed a 0-0 draw away against Dender in a match with mainly midfield play where they shoed to lack scoring power. At the same time, Anderlecht looked vulnerable in defense. So for this one I will just see how it goes and have

Union vs OH Leuven
Union looked reasonably ready at home in the Super Cup but not fully yet up to speed yet in the first league match away against Antwerp in a match that ended in a fair draw. OHL played a 2-2 draw at home against Charleroi after they pretty much started with a lead and played ok without much more. Later in the match it also felt as they were quite lucky to have gotten that early lead and the match ended in an exagerrated 2-2 score. I would back Union at a -1.25 line if only their current form wasn't as questionable. Now I'm just skipping for now to see how it goes and maybe get in live or in case Union falls behind.

Charleroi got eliminated in the conference league after extra time and penalties and showed like a team who isn't going to have wile scoring matches. The fact remains that they lost Zorgane and Heymans which is just a massive blow in creativity and scoring power which hasn't really been replaced. Some other key players might be thinking about a transfer especially now that they are eliminated. So I don't see Charleroi right now as the team of last year that managed to get an European Ticket. Stvv took a deserved home win against AA Gent in a match where both teams had good intentions but a hard time to actually create chances while they also lost their best striker Bertaccini. I expect both teams to more play for a result instead of going all out for the win and I don't see open chances coming easily. I took 0.25 units on
