It was a solid Thursday with close to 0.8 units of profit while I still feel I left a lot on the table by not getting in bigger on Club Brugge after they got behind. Overall the playoffs continue to be just go well and I hope this continues into the weekend with 1 match tonight.

Westerlo vs Dender
Westerlo with 4 weeks left is still in contention to win Playoff 2 but the question remains if they are actually motivated for it and want the extra matches. This hasn't fully been shown by them and some players will make a transfer which kind of makes them lack motivation. So far they had 4 out of 6 matches ending with 4+ goals including 3 a 2-2. The only match they lost so far was away in Dender on Week 1 which started as a fun open match with Dender locking things down after they took the lead. It also ended in 8-8 corners. So far in all but 1 match they always fell behind followed by a revival (except once) so they are quite good finding some motivation when they need to score. Dender is last now in playoff 2 and are without hope or ambitions left. Especially in away matches this often resulted in high scoring games. Last week against Charleroi they started with high pressure but fell 1-0 behind already in minute 16' after which the match slowed down. Only late in the match at a 2-1 score when their goal came out of thin air, they started to take more risk and got pushished for it. They away matches so far had 5-2 / 4-4 / 4-1 scores so plenty of goals while Westerlo also is generally an overish home team. The corners in those matches ended in 12 (9-3) / 11 (7-4) / 5 (4-1) scores. I expect Dender to start off the match again with good intentions and I would not be surprised if the trend of Westerlo falling behind followed by a comeback continued. I was only willing to take a tiny 0.1 unit bet on
Dender 1st Half +0.5 @ 1.783. The over is the obvious pick but I'm waiting to potentially get a better line. If Westerlo is in the lead by 1 goal late, you can be sure that Dender will take risks, which most of the time results in a counter goal. I'm also tempted by a high handicap high odds over corner bet and so far only took 0.05 units on
