There is no other team that can stop Flamengo in Rio de Janeiro. With the title won yesterday (Sunday), there are now 39 Carioca titles and this makes Flamengo the "King of Rio". Filipe Luís' team showed why his team deserved to win the title and according to what the coach said, the pre-season has finally ended with the end of the competition and now it is time to aim for the main competitions of the year.
On a Sunday afternoon at Maracanã, an ideal climate for yet another Carioca final, Flamengo and Fluminense played yet another famous FLA-FLU and, curiously, if we consider the last eight editions, seven were played by these two teams. Flamengo had a one-goal advantage, since in the first game of the final, Mengão won 2-1.
Fluminense needed a two-goal victory to win the title, and a simple victory by just one goal would take the match to penalties. But I believe that neither team wanted to take the match to penalties and what we saw at the beginning of the match was a very lively game, despite the fact that Flamengo had a certain advantage and was trying to find ways to score the first goal.
Just like some important games during the championship, the refereeing had its protagonism, not that it deserved it, but that erroneously for some obvious moves, unfortunately the referee and the VAR team were responsible for disallowing a completely valid goal by Flamengo. The goal would have been scored by Plata in a counterattack made by Juninho and between a dispute for the ball with defender Ignácio, the referee decided to disallow the goal insinuating that the red-black striker had committed the foul.
Despite this beautiful goal being disallowed, it didn't take long for Flamengo to return to the attack and put pressure on the Tricolor defense. Once again, the red-and-black club scored a goal, but this time it was correct, as the goal was offside. Fluminense was unable to finish any play and rarely made goalkeeper Rossi dirty his uniform. If we compare it to the first match of the final, this one on Sunday was the most violent with many yellow cards.
Although Flamengo had managed to score twice, the match ended 0 x 0 and thus made Mengão two-time Carioca Champion. Now all of coach Filipe Luís's attention will be on the next and main competitions of the season, which are the Brasileirão, Copa do Brasil and Libertadores. Of course, in June we will have the [Super Mundial], but I believe that it will not be a competition that the team will take so seriously, but that does not mean that they will not be able to have a great performance.

Não existe outro time para parar o Flamengo no Rio de Janeiro. Com o título conquistado ontem (domingo), já são 39 títulos do Carioca e isso faz o Flamengo ser o "Rei do Rio". A equipe de Filipe Luís mostrou o porquê seu time merecia levar o título e de acordo com o que o técnico disse, a pré-temporada foi finalmente encerrada com o fim da competição e agora é almejar as principais competições do ano.
Em uma tarde de domingo no Maracanã, um clima ideal para mais uma final do Carioca, o Flamengo e Fluminense, protagonizaram mais um famoso FLA-FLU e curiosamente se considerarmos as últimas oito edições, sete foram protagonizadas por essas duas equipes. O Flamengo estava com um gol de vantagem, já que no primeiro jogo da final, o Mengão venceu por 2 - 1.
Fluminense para conquistar o título, precisava de uma vitória de dois gols de diferença e uma vitória simples por apenas um gol, levaria a disputa para os pênaltis. Mas acredito que nenhuma das equipes queria levar o confronto para as penalidades e o que vimos no início da partida foi um jogo bastante movimentado e apesar de que o Flamengo estava com uma certa vantagem e buscava encontrar caminhos para chegar ao primeiro gol.
Assim como alguns jogos importantes durante o campeonato, a arbitragem teve seu protagonismo, não que merecesse, mas que de forma errônea por alguns lances até que óbvios, infelizmente o árbitro e a equipe do VAR foram responsáveis por anular um gol totalmente válido pelo Flamengo. O gol seria de Plata num contra-ataque feito pelo Juninho e entre um confronto de disputa pela bola com o zagueiro Ignácio, o árbitro decidiu anular o gol insinuando que o atacante rubro-negro havia cometido a falta.
Apesar desse lindo gol ter sido anulado, não demorou muito para o Flamengo voltar ao ataque e pressionar a defesa tricolor. Novamente o clube rubro-negro fez o gol, mas dessa vez de forma acertada, o gol estava impedido. O Fluminense não conseguia finalizar nenhuma jogada e poucas vezes fez o goleiro Rossi sujar seu uniforme. Se comparamos com a primeira partida da final, essa de domingo foi a mais violenta com muitos cartões amarelos.
Apesar de que o Flamengo tinha conseguido chegar ao gol por duas vezes, a partida terminou em 0 x 0 e assim fez o Mengão ser Bicampeão Carioca. Agora todas as atenções do técnico Filipe Luís será para as próximas e principais competições da temporada que são o Brasileirão, Copa do Brasil e Libertadores. É claro que no mês de junho teremos o [Super Mundial], mas acredito que não será uma competição que o time levará tão a sério, mas não quer dizer que eles não poderão fazer uma ótima participação.
