On Monday morning, the president of the CBF, Ednaldo Rodrigues, announced the hiring of coach Carlo Ancelotti who will take over the command of the Brazilian National Team.
This announcement is undoubtedly huge, as it involves one of the greatest coaches in the history of world football and the most successful at the moment. It is true that to have someone as good as Ancelotti to take on the responsibility of coaching the most successful team in the world. No other team has surpassed Brazil in World Cup titles and this has enormous weight in the history of football.
It is true that in recent years, tactical and technical performance has left Brazil far behind among the main teams in the world. There have been many changes of Brazilian coaches, but none of them have had a positive effect. Tite was the last coach to participate in at least two editions of the World Cup, but even so we have not seen any evolution in the players' football.

Esse anúncio sem dúvidas é grandioso, pois envolve um dos maiores treinadores da história do futebol mundial e o mais vitorioso na atualidade. É verdade que para ter alguém a altura como Ancelotti para assumir a responsabilidade em treinar a seleção mais vitoriosa do mundo. Nenhuma outra equipe superou o Brasil em títulos de Copa do Mundo e isso tem um peso enorme na história do futebol.
É verdade que nos últimos anos, o desempenho tático e técnico tem deixado o Brasil muito atrás entre as principais seleções no mundo. Houve muitas trocas de treinadores brasileiros, mas nenhum deles surtiu efeito positivo. O Tite foi o último técnico que participou ao menos duas edições da Copa do Mundo, mas mesmo assim não vimos nenhuma evolução no futebol entre os jogadores.
Uma Esperança no Futebol em Meio ao Caos
Agora com Carlo Ancelotti, não restam dúvidas de que teremos um técnico que poderá de fato trazer novos ares para o nosso futebol. Apesar de que ele não acompanha o futebol brasileiro, é provável que a partir de agora ele terá mais esse trabalho. Por outro lado, ele conhece muito bem muitos jogadores que atuam no futebol Europeu e até jogadores que não faziam mais parte do elenco nas convocações, como é o caso de Casemiro, é provável que ele possa retornar a vestir a Amarelinha.
Além disso, a vinda de Carlo Ancelotti por mais que isso esteja repercutindo positivamente tanto no Brasil quanto no mundo, não devemos esquecer da crise que a CBF está enfrentando nos últimos meses. Cada vez mais, um novo escândalo vem sendo divulgado na mídia esportiva e a última é de que a assinatura do ex-presidente da CBF, o coronel Nunes validando a presidência de Ednaldo Rodrigues, teria sido uma assinatura falsa e assim, Ednaldo não poderia está no comando da CBF.
Sendo bem sincero, não faço ideia dos próximos passos sobre a situação do presidente da CBF. Apesar de que existem algumas evidências e supostas provas, não sei se de fato Ednaldo estará afastado de suas responsabilidades na presidência da CBF. Tudo pode acontecer, mas mesmo com um conturbado momento fora de campo da Seleção Brasileira, não irá ofuscar a grande novidade que é a contratação de Carlo Ancelotti.
Ancelotti Não é o Primeiro Técnico Estrangeiro na Seleção Brasileira
Muitos pensam que Ancelotti será o primeiro técnico estrangeiro a assumir a Seleção Brasileira, mas isso não é verdade. Na história do futebol do Brasil, ele será o quarto treinador. Isso mesmo que você leu. Os que já passaram pelo comando da Amarelinha são o uruguaio Ramón Platero, o português Joreca e o argentino Filpo Nuñez. Além de ser o primeiro técnico estrangeiro em 1925, o Ramón Platero foi o único que comandou o Brasil em uma competição oficial.
Sem perder tempo, Ancelotti terá que comandar os próximos jogos da Seleção Brasileira pelas Eliminatórias diante do Equador e Paraguai, no próximo mês.
