If your March Madness bracket hasn't gone mostly under, then you are a specter from the gods. The two I filled out on ESPN have fallen so far from grace that they probably won't hit 1000 points this year.

Hilariously, my joke bracket with Villanova winning is still somewhat valid. I would have them winning the Tournament, but with Justin Moore out of the game, I'm not so sure. At least, not against a 1-seed Jayhawk team. But hey, having three Final Four appearances in the last six years is pretty impressive for the Wildcats.
The Final Four of 2022 will be between traditional powerhouses: UNC, Villanova, Duke, and Kansas. If I were a betting man, I would go for Duke getting their revenge on UNC and Kansas taking the title. Even if UNC wins the title, they wouldn't be the lowest seed to have done it. They'd tie with Nova for that title.

The highlight of this year is the Elite Eight run by 15-seed Saint Peters. That is what I love about Madness each year. We have the opportunity to witness some unexpected upsets, and even Cinderella runs deep into the Tournament.
The biggest disappointment this year has to be seeing Gonzaga losing to Arkansas. I don't hide my bias against SEC teams, but that loss was a bit much for me. Of course, the loss still doesn't take away from the fact that the Bulldogs are one of the best teams in the country despite exiting at Sweet Sixteen.
Who will be at the National Championship game? We shall see soon enough.
