Here today with another podcast on the Lakers. Today was huge, for not so great reasons.
The trade deadline ended today, and the Lakers made no moves to improve their team. It was already a longshot to win a title, but with the Lakers standing pat I think that closes their title window for this year. Here, me and my buddy got into what the trade deadline no show means for the franchise and speculate where the hell we go from here
What were your thoughts on the deadline? Do you think there was any move good enough to get us back to contender status? I think we were bargaining too much from a position of weakness. Rival GMs don't like Rob, and other teams knew we were desperate and only wanted to trade with us if we were willing to pay too many cents on the dollar
