And this World Cup has given rise to many controversies, beyond all speculations, India finally won the World Cup in the battle of excellence in the finals. The India team had an ODI series against Zimbabwe immediately after the World Cup. Normal Zimbabwe is a very normal team to India. Still, in the game of cricket goals, there needs to be more to be said for sure that this team will win or that team will lose. It is a teamwork. The better the teamwork, the more likely the team will win. This is what it proved in the first ODI. The first ODI has caused a surprise in Zimbabwe. Most of the cricket lovers never thought that India would lose against Zimbabwe. Because they are on a very good platform, they just won the T20 World Cup, they are in a very good performance. No one could have thought they would lose, but how Zimbabwe are showing their game is admirable.

However, in the third ODI, India got a big victory. India batting first, Jaswal and Gill came to open for India. Both of them put the team in an excellent position, Jaswal scored 36 runs from 27 balls, on the other hand, Gill played a very nice innings of 66 runs from 49 balls and later Rituraj scored 49 runs from 28 balls. Indian team made 182 runs by batting 20 overs and losing only four wickets. Zimbabwe needs to score 183 runs off 120 balls to win.
Woresley and Marunmani came to open for Zimbabwe. Both of them could not do much for the team. After that, no one could perform well except Mayer. He scored a personal 65 off 49 balls. Zimbabwe team can collect up to 159 runs after losing 6 wickets by batting 20 overs. India won by 23 runs. Maybe Zimbabwe could have won the game if they played more organized innings. However, Zimbabwe has been defeated by India's bowling attack. India snatched their win very nicely.
