Well I totally disagree with the popular Arsenal fan Robbie is asking questions above.
Martinelli is a problem himself. Why else are we sending love letters to Rodrygo? Nelli's fundamental problem isn't about him being isolated. Even supporters of other teams know this.
A striker bringing everyone in, is Harvetz, is Gab Jesus, it could have continued with Isak or Sesko. So he is referring to the old order. This Viktor much like Victor Osimhen, comes with a different skill-set— he is more direct.
So you won't see a situation of a striker always bringing everyone in, in this new order.Odegaard was poor for much of last season. I mean strikingly poor. Why else do you think there's now a deliberate effort to get a solid Odegaard replacement? Nwaneri was given the confidence to renew, terms have been agreed with Eze. If Odegaard did his job effectively, there won't be an over reliance on Saka last season. This ain't the Odegaard before that injury.
So overall, the style of play ain't an issue, the issue has been the players accurately interpreting the style on the pitch, which also points back at the coach as the primary fault, but not in the way the fan says it above.
HERE IT IS
The weakest link Arsenal had at the end of last season and a few seasons now, was the lack of a proper number 9. So the key signing Arsenal needed was a proper striker(which they have now) & even an extra winger.
I assure you that Zubimendi is used to the Arsenal style& with a full pre-season, he will hit the ground running. Noorgard knows the Arsenal way also as an opponent plus he knows the EPL(infact Arteta had the fine dm of Sevlla, Aguome,23,on his list, but chose the Brentford man because he is EPL-ready). So just incase Zubimendi wobbles there's a steady head, a leader too, to take over.
THE REAL MATTERS
My concern is a reputable striker(which has now come in), my concern is that Saka shouldn't be over-worked again( Noni has come in), my concern is that Odegaard should stop letting us down( I've talked on replacemens above) and my CHIEF CONCERN is that Arteta should rotate wisely without sentiments. Luis Enrique of PSG does this so well!
How many matches last season that Arteta left Odegaard on the pitch having a poor display when a Nwaneri is on the bench. This cost Arsenal dearly.
Cheers all
