Is tuchel still not having full confidence in Amando broja?
I think so for the young striker who has proven himself to be one of the prolific youngster in this era, he did that at Southampton last season.
Chelsea sold lukaku and werner during the summer window and we are baffled that Broja is not giving notch in the No 9 role.
Analysing Tuchel Chelsea's tactics
Like we know tuchel is more comfortable with a back 3 and a pivot in Jorginho with reece james playing advanced role in right back and Cucurella also in left back. The two wing backs tend to involve more offensively rather defence.
But jorginho who is the main man (pivot) who's supposed to dictate and compose how Chelsea's play has been so woeful so far this season and his erros leading to goals has been so much.
Against Tottenham, he was dispossessed right in the 18 yard box that led to Tottenham's goal, Against Leeds united, so also against Southampton.
Less physical, and easily bamboozled off the ball. Going forward, jorginho has been so poor pressing forward plus crucial forward passes, that has been missing in his games and making the attackers stranded in the opposition box.
I think Tuchel left it so late to realise how badly he will need a DM, he should have done everything possible to get Frenkie de jong or atleast a proven DM
DOES CHELSEA DID SO WELL IN THE JUST CONCLUDED TRABSFER WINDOW?
I'd say Chelsea only replaced those players that left, Christensen,Rudiger,Alonso,Emerson at the defence and brought in, koulibaly,fofana and Cucurella all at the defence.
Odoi, werner,lukaku were replaced with sterling, Aubameyang and Broja
Not forgetting denis zakaria, a defensive midfielder signed from Juventus.
I still believe chelsea did not do so well in the summer window, lost most of their targets to other other clubs.
Left to Tuchel to find the balance, play players based on form and not based on names, for those that have dip in form likes of jorginho,mount, havertz can all start from the bench.
Broja deserves to start, infact more playing time should be given to the boy and maybe a change in tactics that can accommodate atleast two strikers
Most importantly, for Chelsea to have a successful season it will depend solely on a fully fit n'golo kante.
I think kante's importance in this chelsea squad cannot be overemphasized. Man literally can be find in every area on the pitch but unfortunately series of injuries has been contributing to kante's below par performances recently.
