The premier league started again recently and before them most football lovers have rush to the fpl site to set up their different players who will make up their teams, it all started last year when the announcement was made by the hivefpl teams, even though I wasn't a football person, I had to participate and make use of the site for the first time so I just picked anyhow players on my team and I failed woefully, so this time around I decided to just give it a go as usual and pick some players and club I know, so I selected the one I know based on the money given to purchase any players of our choices. The first week came and I had a whooping score of 82 final points with haaland topping my list with 39 points with saka taking 10 points, the guy was literally a beast last week with the goals he made and I was luck enough to triple my captain points last week while spence and mings really spoilt everything for me.
Gameweek 2 came with 61 points which is way lower than last week own and haaland having only 4 points and I released mings to purchase mitchell with the 1 free transfer I got, couldn't make more transfer so it wont be deduct from my points, so I had 1 free point this week which I will use in getting one more player while releasing spence this time, the guy didn't play at all in both weeks so it is just jobless but still looking for the right guy to pick.
I think on my end here, I'm still doing pretty good for the season but 2 weeks cant judge that, currently ranking 3rd in hive fpl, 4th in hivenaija fpl and I think I dropped to 7 or 8 yesterday before going back to 3/4. it is really a hell of a ride. I'm really curious to see how this will really play out and the head to head game part was really hard checking each other scores to see if I beat my opponent each weeks and earn the reward for the week.
