Today I will share ways to care for the motorcycle chassis so that the chassis is not easy to rust or krosi.
Because today I arrived a Scoopy motorbike in 2014, without experiencing any damage and just wanted to disassemble the entire body for washing the chassis, I was very happy when I saw someone who was so attentive to his motorbike. This father almost every three months satang to the workshop just wanted to dismantle the full body, because he really loves his motorbike,
Maybe for some people think that chassis maintenance is not so important and useful, but I think this is very important, because all the cables on this motorbike are all attached to the chassis or frame.
It's useless if your motorbike regularly washes once a week only on the outside because almost twenty percent of the dust sticks inside or to the chassis.
To wash the chassis is not easy and the risk is very big if it is done by people who don't understand motorbikes, to wash the chassis takes a full day, maybe that's a very long time isn't it!!!
If you don't want to take a big risk and you want the chassis of your motorbike to be clean like a new motorbike from the dealer, that's possible but maybe you need more time and it's a lot of hassle for yourself, and you also don't have enough time in just one day maybe you need one. 2 to 3 days just to clean the chassis parts.
Here's how to clean the chassis without any major risks:
Surely the first thing you do is open the whole body.
After you open all the bodies, don't clean them right away, you first pay attention to your entire motorcycle cable, try to see if there are any broken cables or bitten by mice, if there are parts of the cable that are broken or bitten by rats, don't ever clean it immediately.
First, fix the part of the cable that is broken or eaten by mice, by wrapping it using duct tape or a special cable bandage, because if it is not done it is very dangerous, maybe when the motor is turned on, your motor cable will burn, it can even cause the ECU to be damaged. or scorched.
a big risky way that I said earlier, maybe not everyone dares to do this,
This method doesn't take more than a day if you start doing it in the morning, because what we need and most importantly, is sunlight at 12 o'clock.
This method only requires removing one component other than the body, namely the ECU, why the ECU?? Because after all, the ECU is very dangerous if it is exposed to excessive water, especially in the plug.
Here's how to clean with a very big risk:
After all of your bodies are open, you only need to remove the ECU, after that you just spray it with water like you clean the outside of the body, after you wash it using coir and you rinse, you must wipe it first, after this don't forget the motor in drying in the sun so that all the water between the cables is completely dry.
For drying time, this is probably the longest time because it takes about three hours to dry it alone.
After drying, there is only one more step to make sure all components are completely dry, namely spraying the entire chassis, cable plugs, cables, and other components.
