Los motores Toyota son diseñados para trabajar con altas temperaturas como decimos en el argot mecánico según nuestro vocabulario, son máquinas calientes que para su trabajo optimo tienen que estar a alta temperatura.

Cabe mencionar que al trasladar estos modelos de vehículos a estos países del trópico, que son zonas calientes, es decir con altas temperaturas, estos necesitan un mantenimiento más rígido o intenso como lo que es lubricación y refrigeración ya que los antes mencionado, van de la mano o trabajan en conjunto.

Desde mi experiencia les sugiero que para este tipo de motores el cambio de aceite se tiene que realizar un poco antes del kilometraje recomendado y colocar un buen lubricante de calidad y cambiar los microfiltros de aceite a cada 50.000 kilómetros, también hacerle mantenimiento a las cavidades y tener los ductos limpios y en buenas condiciones siempre para evitar que el calentamiento de los motores, se crean pequeñas láminas de sedimentos en los ductos y por ende en cualquier momento se desprenden y se obstruyen los mismos sin vuelta atrás.
From my experience I suggest that for this type of engines the oil change has to be done a little before the recommended mileage and put a good quality lubricant and change the oil microfilters every 50,000 kilometers, also do maintenance to the cavities and have the ducts clean and in good condition always to prevent the heating of the engines, small sheets of sediment are created in the ducts and therefore at any time are detached and clogged the same without turning back.
Cuando se realice o sea necesario dicho mantenimiento, hay que cambiar el flujo de refrigerante ya que esté es uno de los que mantiene los motores a la temperatura adecuada para que no lo exceda de la temperatura o kilometraje permitido, si esto llegase a pasar el mismo pierde con más facilidad sus propiedades y se acelera la pérdida de sus aditivos.

Este tipo de motores, hay que mantenerlos en mantenimiento preventivo y al día por lo costoso de sus partes y esto es lo ideal, para la reparación de estos se requiere comprar el 3/4 del motor nuevo, ya que las refacciones que se encuentran en el mercado no son de buena calidad y estos ocasionan que la reconstrucción de lo antes mencionado produzca más esfuerzo y calibración de todas las piezas, esto ocasiona que al poco tiempo haya que adquirir las piezas ya que se producen desperfectos en la lubricación y termina afectando el cigüeñal.
