Que tal amigos de #hivemotors quiero contarles sobre la experiencia mas reciente que he vivido con el carro y como leen en el titulo relacionado con el cambio de 1 de las cauchos. Resulta que el carrito tiene tiempo andando con 4 cauchos que me habían vendido hace años muy económicos porque su año de fabricación fue 2018, y como cuando los compre era apenas finales del 2019 no vi ningún problema.
El caso es que el carro aún tenía los cauchos en buen estado, no era necesario cambiarlos, así que vi esta opción como adelantarme a una futura compra, los guardaría hasta que fuera necesario, estaba seguro que a mediados del 2020 estaría haciendo el cambio porque por la actividad económica a la que me dedicaba debía viajar mucho, y para ese momento ya tendrían mucho desgaste.
Pero para lo que nadie estaba preparado era para una pandemia y confinamiento por cuarentena, asi que viajar ya no era una posibilidad, el carro estuvo mas tiempo estacionado que rodando y como muchos tuvimos que reinventarnos y buscar otros métodos de ingreso. En todo ese tiempo jamás pensé en los cauchos que había comprado para guardarlos y menos en su año de fabricación.
No fue sino hasta finales del 2021 que de nuevo comencé a viajar, y los cauchos que el carro tenia montado sufrieron desgasta llegando el momento de realizar por fin el cambio, me sentí algo tranquilo porque recordé los cauchos guardados. Cuando los busque note que la goma se sentía un tanto mas suave de lo normal, y de inmediato vino a mi mente el año de fabricación.
Para el que no esta familiarizado con esta información, el indicador del año de fabricación de un caucho es un pequeño cuadro con cuatro números, los dos primeros indican la semana del año en que fue fabricado, los otros dos evidentemente el año de fabricación. Como podrán ver en la siguiente imagen, los cuacho a los que me refieron son de la semana 41, ósea de octubre del 2018.
Con el riesgo en mente coloque los cauchos, bajo la premisa que debía estar siempre vigilante, no ir a altas velocidades y programarme para comprar unos mas actuales lo antes posible, pero para lo que tampoco estaba preparado fue las dificultades económicas en mi negocio teniendo entonces que alargar el uso de estos riesgosos cauchos. Esta decisión fue muy arriesgada, empezaron a desgastarse por dentro porque tambien perdi la alineación, y lo note cuando se desinfló por completo y al bajarlo me di cuenta del desgaste y el riesgo, gracias a Dios esto no me pasó rodando.
Pues recientemente ya han llegado a su fin, he estado rodando bajo mucho riesgo al no poder comprar otros, la medida del caucho es 175/65 rin de 14" y el precio mas económico que encuentro en mi ciudad es de 35$ de fabricación china. Honestamente tuve que quitar prestado para poder comprar 2, y de alguna manera seguir rodando para buscar el alimento para casa. Espero esta experiencia le pueda ayudar a cualquiera a tener presente año de fabricación de un caucho al momento de comprarlo para su vehículo.

But what no one was prepared for was a pandemic and quarantine confinement, so traveling was no longer a possibility, the car was more time parked than rolling and like many we had to reinvent ourselves and look for other methods of income. In all that time I never thought about the tires I had bought to keep them and even less about their year of manufacture.
It was not until the end of 2021 that I began to travel again, and the tires that the car had mounted suffered wear when it was time to finally make the change, I felt somewhat calm because I remembered the tires saved. When I looked for them I noticed that the rubber felt a little softer than normal, and immediately came to my mind the year of manufacture.
For those who are not familiar with this information, the year of manufacture indicator of a rubber is a small box with four numbers, the first two indicate the week of the year in which it was manufactured, the other two evidently the year of manufacture. As you can see in the following image, the quads I am referring to are from week 41, that is, October 2018.
With the risk in mind I put the tires, under the premise that I should always be vigilant, not to go at high speeds and program myself to buy more current ones as soon as possible, but what I was not prepared for was the economic difficulties in my business having then to extend the use of these risky tires. This decision was very risky, they started to wear out inside because I also lost the alignment, and I noticed it when it was completely deflated and when I lowered it I realized the wear and the risk, thank God this did not happen to me while riding.
