My car has been consuming more gasoline than normal, I have reviewed some parts and I have made some changes, such as changing the oil sensor, which provided an improvement but it was for a short time because the problem continues. Today with the ELM327 engine diagnostic tool I performed a scan to see if I can definitely find the cause.

Mi carro a estado consumiendo mas gasolina de lo normal, he revisado algunas partes y he hecho algunos cambios, como el cambio del sensor de aceite, que brindaron una mejora pero fue por poco tiempo porque el problema continua. Hoy con la herramienta de diagnostico de motor ELM327 realice un escaneo a ver si puedo dar definitivamente con la causa.
You may not know this tool, it is a small device, quite inexpensive that plugs into the OBD2 port of our vehicle, which is usually located under the dashboard, in the case of the Chery A1 is in the glove compartment.
Quizás no conozcas esta herramienta, es un pequeño dispositivo, bastante económico que se conecta en el puerto OBD2 de nuestro vehículo, que usualmente se encuentra debajo del tablero, en el caso del Chery A1 esta en la guantera.
Wifi connection
We can connect to this tool through a Wifi signal that the device emits, or by bluetooth with a laptop or cell phone. In my case I do it with the phone via Wifi.

Software
There are several programs that can be used to run diagnostics, some free some paid that provide more features. I have used the Torque and Infocar Android apps. Currently Infocar has worked best for me because Torque has lost support and is not receiving updates.

Hay varios programas que se pueden utilizar para correr el diagnostico, unos gratuitos otros pagos que brindan mas funciones. Yo he utilizado las aplicaciones para Android de Torque e Infocar. Actualmente Infocar me ha funcionado mejor porque Torque ha perdido soporte y no recibe actualizaciones.

Diagnostics
The first diagnosis was made without starting the engine, just put the key in the previous ignition position to energize the board and the ECU. This first diagnostic serves to erase what has been stored as faults in the computer chace. As you can see, I got 11 fault codes.

El primer diagnóstico lo realice sin encender el motor, solo coloco la llave en la posición previa de encendido para energizar el tablero y el ECU. Este primer diagnóstico sirve para borrar lo que ha quedado almacenado como fallas en la chace del computador. Como verán arrojo 11 códigos de fallas.

The next step I do is to erase those fault codes that were stored, and then start the engine and run a new diagnostic. As you can see, after erasing the fault codes, and running the new diagnostic, only 2 fault codes appeared.
El siguiente paso que hago es borrar esos codigo de fallas que quedaron almacenados, para luego encender el motor y correr un nuevo diagnóstico. Como verán, luego de borrados los códigos de fallas, y correr el nuevo diagnóstico solo aparecieron 2 códigos de falla.

The two codes that the diagnostics showed were P0107 related to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) that sends signals to the MAP sensor, and P0340 related to the camshaft position sensor (CPS).
As for the code related to the crankshaft sensor, I don't worry so much because if I had any failure there the engine would have less power or simply would not start, I think I should check the wiring because near the sensor there was an oil vote.
The code related to the Intake Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor if I must check thoroughly, it may fail because it is not receiving the 5 volts needed to send the return signal, in that case it would be the wires damaged and simply the sensor stopped working, I will be sharing the results in another publication.
Los dos códigos que ajorró el diagnostic fueron el P0107 relacionado al Módulo de Control del Tren de Potencia (PCM) que envía señales al sensor MAP, y el P0340 relacionado al sensor de posición del árbol de levas (CPS).
En cuanto al código relacionado con el sensor del cigueñal, no me preocupo tanto porque si tuviera alguna falla ahi el motor tuviera menos potencia o simplemente no arrancaría, creo que debo chequear el cableado porque cerca del sensor hubo un vote de aceite.
El código relacionado al Sensor de Presión Absoluta del Múltiple de admisión si debo chequear a fondo, puede que falle por no estar recibiendo los 5 voltios necesarios para que envíe la señal de retorno, en ese caso seria los cables dañados y simplemente el sensor dejo de funcionar, los resultados los estaré compartiendo en otra publication.
