Hello community, a few days ago I shared with you the process of changing the engine oil of my car after 7000 kilometers, accompanied by the concern of a possible sound of tappets, the truth is that this sound didn't stop and it's time to open to check more thoroughly, but while I prepare to perform this work, I was very curious about the state of the engine oil filter after so much time and so many kilometers.

Que tal comunidad, hace dia comparti con ustedes el proceso de cambio de aceite de motor de mi carro luego de 7000 kilómetros, acompañado de la preocupación de un posible sonido de taquetes, la verdad es que este sonido no cesó y toca abrir para revisar mas a fondo, pero mientras me preparo para realizar ese trabajo, me llene de mucha curiosidad por cual seria el estado del filtro de aceite de motor luego de tanto tiempo y tantos kilómetros.

La respuesta es mas que obvia, lleno de aceite y partículas, pero aunque es claro que sea así, no hay nada como verlo mas de cerca y de primera mano. Así que me dispuse con paciencia abrir el filtro para sacar su material filtrante y evaluar sus condiciones, creo que tambien esto me ayudará a saber cuales son algunas de las condiciones internas de mi motor y que tan bueno es el aceite que e venido utilizando.
I think that since I learned that not all brands offer good quality filtering material inside their filters, I'm somewhat obsessed with knowing that the ones I buy for both gasoline and motor oil have good filtering material. In the past I have already opened a gasoline filter and found that it was large enough to offer better filtration, so this time I wanted to corroborate the same thing.

En el pasado ya abri un filtro de gasolina constatando que si era lo suficientemente grande para ofrecer mayor filtrado, así que en esta ocasión quise corroborar lo mismo.

Vaya sorpresa que me lleve, el material solo ocupaba la mitad interna del filtro, la otra mitad era ocupada por el resorte, no es que no sirva, pero creo que la lógica dice que si hay mas material filtrante, mejor filtración habrá, bueno por lo menos así es para mi, por esa razón no me confio en el nombre de una marca, prefiero revisar y ser minucioso, no es que abriré cada filtro, pero se puede alcanzar a ver internamente por su orificio hasta donde llega el material.

Recuerdo haber leído una vez que cuando el aceite pierde sus propiedades por sobre calentamiento, la película de aceite entre las partes del motor puede ser mucho mas delgada que un cabello humano, por esa razón se deben seguir las instrucciones del fabricante a fin de hacer lo cambios a tiempo además de usar el aceite que recomienda el fabricante del vehículo, ya que muchos tenemos por costumbre cambiarlo al haber desgaste en el motor.
