The last problem I shared with you about the failure due to the broken rubber in the hydrovac was 17 days ago, I would have liked it to be longer, but just two days ago the car had a new failure, thus ending the peace.

Que tal comunidad, tenía días sin publicar porque todo andaba bien con el carro, tuve paz por bastante tiempo, el último problema que les compartí sobre la falla por la goma rota en el hidrovac fue hace 17 días, me hubiera gustado que fuese por más tiempo, pero apenas hace dos días el carro presento una falla, terminandose así la paz.
The day before the failure the car was running fine, I parked it in the garage as usual, so the next day early in the morning, I took the car out again to take my children to school, but when I turned it on in the morning, it had a new failure as if one of the cylinders was not working. I was running late to take the kids to school, checked as fast as I could, I thought I found the reason.
I noticed that near one of the spark plug wires there was water, on the plastic part of the intake, during the whole night it rained very hard, everything woke up very wet, I assumed that was the reason but how did the water get there if the hood is closed? When I inspected a little more I noticed that the channel that receives the water from the windshield had what looked like a crack, I assumed that it entered through there, so when I came back I would check better if I had to see if it had a crack.

El día anterior a la falla el carro andaba bien, finalizó el día lo estacione en el garaje como siempre, para que al día siguiente temprano en la mañana, sacar el carro otra vez para llevar a mis hijos al colegio, pero cuando lo encendí en la mañana, tenía una nueva falla como si uno de los cilindros no estuviera trabajando. Se me hacía tarde para llevar a los niños al colegio, revisado lo más rápido que podía, creí encontrar la razón.
Observé que cerca de uno de los cables de bujía había agua, sobre la parte plástica de la admisión, durante toda la noche llovió muy fuerte, todo amaneció muy mojado, supuse que esa era la razón pero ¿Cómo llego al agua hasta ahí si el capó está cerrado? Al inspeccionar un poco más note que la canal que recibe el agua de diciendo del parabrisas tenía lo que parecía una grieta, supuse que entro por ahí, así que al regresa revisaría mejor si tenía que ver.

I inserted a piece of cloth and indeed there was water, so with the same cloth several times I inserted it until it did not come out wet and was dry. Also the end of the cable had water so it was more than obvious the reason for the failure. When it was dry and I started the car again it worked fine and the cylinder did spark.

Now checking the water channel of the windshield, I noticed that it is the part where a plastic cover that hides the body serial is removed. The silicone insulation underneath the plastic fell off in some places and let the water through.

With a bit of liquid silicone I covered the parts where there was no more, and waited for it to dry. We have not abundant rain again in my city, but the ones we had, the water that fell did not go to the spark plugs again, so for the moment the matter is solved.
