I started to correct aesthetic elements in my truck (Actualization)

Since a couple of weeks ago the work for the correction of some aesthetic elements of my van did not continue, I had had delays with the brass worker due to time issues, but after making some contacts, I could get a person with some availability to continue the work, however, that person also has other commitments that do not allow him to devote full time to my van, so anyway I have to be patient.

As I mentioned in the previous post which I leave the link below, this is a partial work, I do not have the budget to paint the whole truck, so I will go by sections, I know it is not ideal, but it is what it is, anyway I think the result can be interesting and I really do not want it to look like a new car, I just want it to be presentable and uniform with respect to the color.

The sections to be restored and painted are the front end, hood, roof, tailgate and left side fenders which had heavy traces of corrosion, we will also remove the wood effect vinyl paper as replacing it in its entirety can be costly and is also hard to come by, so when all is finished the truck will be totally green.

As you can see in the pictures, until today almost all the brass work was done, all the sections even have acrylic primer and are almost ready to paint except for the rear fender which only has plastic putty, but this will be prepared tomorrow so that all sections will be ready to just paint.

It was quite complicated to get a reliable brass fitter who also had some time available, the big shops charge very high prices that I can not afford, plus they take up to a whole week doing the work and I can not stay without a truck that long, so I had to do all this work clandestinely and in dribs and drabs.

If the wind blows in my favor, by this weekend the work will be finished, the threats of rain have been present and that is counterproductive when you are going to paint a car because the humidity can affect the work done, but it remains to be patient and wait for the right time. After this phase, I will start another one with the intention of correcting other things that I know will remain in the air, but I will think about that later, for the moment these are the advances.
